Renren Inc. Provides Update on Preliminary Unaudited Second Quarter 2013 Results and Second Quarter 2013 Earnings Date Announcement

BEIJING, July 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Renren Inc. (NYSE: RENN) ("Renren" or the "Company"), a leading real-name social networking internet platform in China, today announced preliminary selected unaudited financial results for the second fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2013. These preliminary results are subject to change as the Company is in the process of finalizing the financial statements for the second quarter. The Company expects to issue the earnings release for the second fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2013, on August 14, 2013, after market hours.

Revenues in the second quarter of 2013 are estimated to be in the range of US$49 million to US$50 million instead of the previously forecasted range of US$55 million to US$57 million. The reduced estimate is primarily due to delays in the planned launch of new mobile and cross-platform games for the Android market.

Operating loss on a non-GAAP basis in the second quarter of 2013 is estimated to be between US$29 million to US$30 million. Non-GAAP adjusted net loss is estimated to be between US$4 million to US$5 million.

"Revenues came in lower than expected mostly due to delays in our game pipeline. As we continue to prepare towards our penetration into the Android market, our focus is to ensure the complete readiness of our games and a carefully prepared distribution strategy at the time of entry. HONG KONG, July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Asia's Jewellery Group (www.jewellerynetasia.com), organiser of the world's number one jewellery fair, announces all visitors with Trade Buyer ID Card can now enjoy free and immediate access to all UBM Asia's jewellery and fashion jewellery & accessories fairs in Mainland China, Germany, India, Japan, Singapore, Turkey, Hong Kong and Taiwan regions, without having to register to visit the fairs.

The Trade Buyer ID project was rolled out in June 2012 to make visiting UBM Asia's jewellery fairs in Hong Kong and Mainland China an easy and enjoyable experience right from the registration step. Due to the overwhelming success of the launch and the positive feedback from jewellery buyers, UBM Asia decided to give holders of Trade Buyer ID direct access to all of its jewellery fairs around the world. Instead of getting an admission badge for each jewellery fair, visitors simply present the Trade Buyer ID Card and walk directly into their chosen fairs. As of today, over 10,000 jewellery buyers from 92 countries and regions have received Trade Buyer ID Cards. 

For visitors who have not upgraded their visitor's badge yet, all they need to do is to bring along their identity documents and visit the Trade Buyer ID Card service counter at AsiaWorld-Expo or the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre in person during the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair 2013 to upgrade the card. The Trade Buyer ID Card is valid until December 2015.
